Short answer
Choose Currency in NotchPop's Units tool, select both currencies and enter an amount. The app retrieves Frankfurter rates and can retain a saved set if refresh fails. Check the market date and status; the displayed estimate is not a guaranteed bank or payment-provider quote.
Use the converter for a clear estimate
A reference conversion can help you understand a price or compare amounts expressed in different currencies. First preserve the original currency and amount. A number converted into your preferred display currency should not be mistaken for the amount a provider will actually debit, settle or pay out.
NotchPop offers USD, EUR, GBP, INR, JPY, CAD, AUD, CNY, CHF and SGD in this tool. The available set is an app choice, not a claim to expose every currency supported by the upstream service. Frankfurter publishes reference-rate data; it is not a live trading quotation service.
Read the selected pair and freshness
- Open Units and select Currency.
- Set From and To currencies, then enter the original amount.
- Check the rate date and whether the app is loading, current or using saved rates.
- Record the original amount as well as the estimate if you need to refer to the comparison later.
The app caches a complete set of valid rates and normally reuses a recent cache before fetching again. A later fetch time is not necessarily a new market observation. On a connection failure, saved rates may remain available; without valid rates, an unavailable result is not a zero-value conversion.
Compare with the actual provider when money moves
A bank, card or payment service may apply its own spread, fees, timing and rounding. Use its actual quote or statement for a real transaction. The converter does not initiate a transfer, reserve an exchange rate or settle revenue. Keeping those boundaries clear prevents an estimate from becoming an unsupported accounting figure.
For fixed measurements, the unit converter guide covers a different calculation. In revenue dashboards, preserve provider currencies and periods when comparing totals. A converted display is helpful for awareness, while the original provider records remain necessary for reconciliation.
