Meet the maker
Tejas Telkar is the independent developer of NotchPop. The app is built with Swift and SwiftUI for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Its media controls, file shelf, clipboard, calendar and focus tools share one small interface at the top of your screen.
On a MacBook with a camera notch, that interface sits around the notch. On a compatible Mac without one, it becomes a floating island. You can find Tejas's launch introduction and community discussion on NotchPop's Product Hunt page.
What you can check before buying
The tool catalogue lists what is actually included. Feature pages contain recordings of the Mac app, and the website demo uses clearly labeled sample data. The release notes describe changes by version, so you can check when a capability was added.
Every built-in tool is available during the seven-day free trial. A license starts at $3.99 for one Mac, with separate two-Mac and five-Mac options. Each is a one-time purchase that includes future app updates. See pricing and the 14-day refund policy for the terms.
The current download is self-signed and is not Apple-notarized. macOS can therefore show a developer verification warning on first launch. This status is disclosed in our setup guides; you can decide whether the current distribution meets your needs before installing.
How our guides and comparisons are written
Guides are published by NotchPop, with Tejas identified as the editor. Apple documentation supports macOS instructions. Comparisons link to each developer's published materials and show their review date. We make NotchPop, so these are our own comparisons; they are not independent reviews.
A capability marked as unlisted means we did not find it in that app's published feature set. It does not establish that the capability is impossible or absent from every version. Prices, offers and features can change. We welcome corrections with a source link.
Privacy and optional connections
Clipboard history and image conversion are processed on your Mac. Clipboard monitoring starts off. Online features, such as weather, payment-provider dashboards and website analytics, contact the services you choose to connect. Integration credentials are stored in macOS Keychain. The privacy policy explains licensing requests, website analytics and permissions in more detail.
