Settings rebuilt in the style of macOS System Settings, notch clicks that pin the panel open, a proper activation window when the trial ends, and one haptic tick per click.

What's new:

New

A new Settings window in the style of macOS System Settings, with clear sections, an icon on every setting, back and forward buttons and search.
Clicking the notch opens it pinned, so it stays open while you work. Click it again or press ⌥ Space to close.
When the free trial ends, an Activate NotchPop window offers your license key, trial status and plans in one place.
The accent colour in Settings → Appearance now colours the notch itself; the default Mono keeps the white look.
The welcome tour asks whether the notch should open on click or on hover.

Refinements

The volume and brightness HUD grows just below the menu bar, like the notch expanding.
The welcome tour has bigger text and clearer illustrations.
The theme picker is gone; it didn't change the notch.

Fixes

Clicking the notch gave two haptic ticks; it now gives one.
The dock did nothing visible while the Google Analytics or AdSense connect sheet was open.
After the trial ends, NotchPop no longer shows alerts, HUDs or tools until it is activated.

What's new:

New

Support from the app. Settings → Feedback emails bugs and questions to support@notchpop.com with your versions filled in, and posts ideas to the public board.
Connecting Google Analytics now turns the notch into a compact Google island, one step at a time, on the panel's own glass.
Stripe, Polar, Dodo and AdSense connect from one focused screen with the key field inline.
After you buy, the thanks page shows your license key with a one-click Activate in NotchPop button.

Refinements

Closing the notch is smoother: its contents fade out first, then the shell glides home.
Every connected account uses the same Disconnect button, and every disconnect, including deactivating your license, asks for confirmation first.
Switching tabs, categories, filters and days is smooth in every tool and in Settings.
Reminders, project sheets and disconnect confirmations sit on the notch's glass instead of a dimmed tool.
Coding, Notes, Calendar, Screen Time and Emoji have tighter, clearer empty states, and tools resize the moment you connect.
Settings → Coding lists Claude, Codex, Grok and Cursor with working Connect buttons.

Fixes

The Verify license screen now has Check again, and a key from a link that failed to activate is kept for a retry.
The checkout return page no longer shares your license key or email with analytics.
The Codex, Grok and Cursor logos disappeared on the selected Coding tab.
Home showed $0.00 with an upward arrow when no payment provider was connected, and only counted Stripe.
Analytics demo data was labelled Active; it now says Demo.
Weather, Units and the image converter no longer show zeros or contradictory messages while loading.
Cut-off text in Settings and Calendar, and remove buttons covering Home tile labels.

Fixes

The resting notch, alerts and HUDs sat a few points too high and looked shorter than the hardware notch. They now match the notch height of your Mac model exactly.

Alert duration: choose how long focus, dev server, battery, sale and other alerts stay open, from 3 seconds to until you dismiss them.

Refinements

Alerts and the open notch no longer cast a shadow, so they sit flush with the top of the screen like the hardware notch.
License checks now rely on a signed server token, making licenses harder to fake without changing anything for paying users.

Fixes

A license that was revoked and later re-enabled now starts working again on its own.

A new motion system for the notch. The panel now grows out of the camera on real spring physics, its contents sharpen out of a soft blur as it opens, and the dock floats beneath it on liquid glass.

What's new:

New features

Spring-physics notch: opening, closing and switching tools now run on real springs, so the panel lands softly and can be interrupted mid-motion.
Blur-morph reveal: tool contents grow out of the notch at the panel's own scale and come into focus as it opens, then shrink back into the camera on close.
Liquid glass dock: the tool dock and its buttons use macOS liquid glass, with a soft rim and shadow so they float under the panel.

Refinements

Curvier silhouette: continuous corners throughout, wider shoulders that sweep into the menu bar, and rounder bottom corners on the open panel.
Tool switching: pages blur-crossfade while the panel springs to its new size, and the dock highlight glides to the selected tool.
Tactile dock: buttons squeeze on press and spring back on release.
New logo everywhere: the NotchPop ghost now appears in the menu bar, onboarding, Settings and the license screen.

Bug fixes

The panel's shadow no longer darkens its own surface.
The dock lane stays legible over busy windows behind the notch.
